The Bourne LegacyAccused by some in the media of lacking originality, The Bourne Legacy has strong Christian themes running throughout the film.

Just after the opening scenes of the film, a seed is planted in the minds of disciples and possibly others watching the movie of Jesus Christ himself when those precious words are merely mentioned.

A little later in the movie, a scene develops whereby a pack of wolves are slaughtering a lamb. Dialogue in the film contains the words God and pray. Moreover, the scene where the word pray is mentioned is likely to remind someone of the story of Simon of Cyrene in acts.

During one of the chase scenes, the lead actor, Jeremy Renner (playing Aaron Cross) appears to run across the water much like the Savior himself. As the pack of wolves turn their attention to Cross himself (note his last name is "Cross"), the wolves act much like a roaring lion out to devour the film's savior.

The role of Cross in the film develops into one of an avenging angel sent to protect Dr. Marta Shearing (note her last name reminds one of a sheep.) The name Marta which is one letter short of the woman name Martha in one of the women in Jesus' life talks on the same role. She was busy with her life and not listening to Jesus.

In the film, Marta was in need of redemption as she slowly awoke to her own sins in participating as a researcher in the evil American government's schemes to kill people and control the world.

Let those who have ears, hear. Let those who can see go watch the film, The Bourne Legacy.
