Five Reasons Rift is the New WoW - Page 2
Rift has some bugs - all MMOs do - but there aren't many and they don't detract from gameplay. It's a solid, well-done MMO.
4. There's a lot to do.
Rift has something for everyone. There are dungeons to run, PvP, some RvR (realm versus realm), and quite a bit of PvE. If the Rifts - a well-executed form of public quests - don't keep you busy, there are puzzles you can solve and artifacts you can collect. In Rift, there's always something else you can be working on.
5. Rift is the cure for your WoW ennui.
WoW is an old, worn out fighter who no one has taken the MMO crown from. It should've been gone years ago, but the MMO industry just couldn't seem to create even a half-way decent product to contend with it. Players would leave, toy with another game for a bit, realized it sucked, and head right back to WoW.
Rift doesn't suck. Rift rocks. It's addictive and fun. It's what an MMO should be. There's nothing fancy about, but what it does it does well. Rift is the excuse players have been waiting for, the excuse they needed to leave the comfort of WoW for something new.
Rift might be a Goldilocks MMO - everything about it is just right - but it's just right enough to be the WoW killer everyone was waiting for.
