Guild Wars 2 Introduces the Engineer

ArenaNet introduced gamers to the Engineer this week. The Engineer is now the seventh playable class unveiled for the upcoming MMO Guild Wars 2.

Will you want to play this class? Will the Engineer be fun? Take a gander at some of the rather enticing phrases that make up the Engineer's FAQ sheet: "Masters of mechanical mayhem...", "...tinker with explosives, gadgets, elixirs, and all manner of deployable devices.", "Air Blast...", "...Backdraft...", "...mines, bombs, and grenades.", and "Flamethrower"!

Flamethrower! That's right, a flamethrower!

Of course you'll want to play this class. Any class with a flamethrower has gotta be fun.

The Engineer is the seventh playable class introduced for Guild Wars 2. Will the next one be the last? Eight's a nice round number. And once all the classes are introduces does that mean the game is almost ready for release? Hope springs eternal in the gaming world, so let's hope.
