New iPhone Game "Snakes and Ladders" Showcases India's Emerging Tech Dominance
On September 27th, the Apple-acquired iPhone and iTouch application "snakes and ladders" was released. It didn't take long for the game to become the highest downloaded Apple game worldwide - over 250,000.
India’s tech knowledge is becoming accepted worldwide. Apple approached a self-steered engineer in the South of India, T. Harikumar, who quit his job and launched his own company to develop mobile games and image technology processing. Harikumar developed the game “Snakes and Ladders” as an iPhone app.
