Rovio Releases Angry Birds Star Wars Today
Gamers, rejoice! Angry Birds Star Wars just got released by Rovio today.
The gameplay for the latest Angry Birds version is familiar: catapult birds to destroy all the pigs in different levels, earning players stars, depending on how well they do it.
Angry Birds Star Wars offers lots of fun on every level. In Tatooine level, the red bird get a light sabre which you swing to destructive effect at any point during the flight by tapping the screen - complete with Luke Skywalker hair. The yellow bird now shoots lasers with complete Star Wars sound effects. The black bird can use The Force to send objects shooting off with a tap, and there's a heavy Chewbacca bird to barrel through obstacles.
Meanwhile, the pigs dress as stormtroopers Darth Vader, and even get to hop in Tie-Fighters and fire lasers of their own.
Angry Birds Star Wars launches today on iOS (iPhone and iPad), Android, Amazon Kindle Fire, Mac, PC, Windows Phone, and Windows 8. Enjoy the game, folks!
