Boy George Arrested On Assault and False Imprisonment Charges
News reports are surfacing that former Culture Club singer Boy George was arrested on assault charges brought up by a male escort named Auden Carlsen who accused Boy George (George O'Dowd) of chaining him up in his flat and then brandishing a box sex toys, and then allegedly stating "Now you'll get what you deserve."
Mr. Carlsen states that he was "hired" by Boy George to come to his home to pose and have pictures taken. Mr. Carlsen claims he was posing in kinky outfits, when George told him he was "popping out for some milk," but when he returned he was not alone. He and another man handcuffed the escort and chained him up to a "hook by the bed and held him down."
After the other man left, that's when Carlsen stated that George threatened him with the sex toys. Carlsen managed to free himself and alert authorities. And one final caveat to this ball of cheesy news is, Carlsen added the following quote:
"It's ironic that his biggest hit was Do You Really Want To Hurt Me - because I'm sure he did want to hurt me. I was convinced I was going to die."
Mr. Carlsen had me convinced until that last line, now, I am afraid a tinge of doubt has been cast on his allegations. Boy George is no stranger to trouble, last year he was sentenced to community service after police found cocaine in his apartment.
Can't a former gay pop star get his freak on without folks getting wily? Poor George, looks like he's suffering from a little Karma Chameleon.
