And as far as her continuing efforts to get her license? It is reported that she finally has a temporary one:
California Department of Motor Vehicles Public Information Office Jan Mendoza tells Us that Spears, 25, picked up her license today at the DMV office in Van Nuys. Though it is a temporary paper license, it is valid until a permanent one is mailed.
However, she still seems to be living in LaLa Land:
[Friend Sam] Lufti explains that the Monday decision to give K-Fed custody was merely the result of some scheduling conflicts that had kept Spears from taking her court-mandated drug tests. "There were scheduling conflicts and some errors in communication as to times and places for drug tests, etc., but they're all squared away now," he tells Us, continuing, "[Spears] is hoping the judge will reverse the order Wednesday, now that she is making steps to follow through with what they asked."
Blah blah excuses blah. If there is any justice left in the world, the judge will see this for what it is....a huge sucking sound, coming from Brit's general direction, and aimed right at his judicial seat. Oh sure, she's attempting to comply...NOW. Just because she is making a general attempt at compliance doesn't mean she has changed. Getting her license is the easy part of the judge's orders. But you can't brown-nose your way through a court-ordered drug test or parenting classes, and if this judge is worth his paycheck he will see right through this act.
All facetiousness aside, Britney is a danger to both herself and those boys. I think that once whatever she takes/smokes/snorts wears off, she is hit with the overwhelming nature of her reality, and that makes her take more and more. She is selfish to want those boys. She doesn't have their best interests at heart...only her own.
She is an overdose waiting to happen. She is Anna Nicole Smith Jr., the only difference is age.
I sincerely hope that someone can get her help before it is too late, and the show is cancelled for good.
