"Howard, Please Help Her!" Was Pregnant Anna Nicole Smith Drugged By Howard K. Stern?

Call me crazy, but I've always wanted to believe that, in some weird way, Howard K. Stern was in love with Anna Nicole. That it was some freakish love, sure, but a love nonetheless. That he had to stand by awkwardly as Anna slurred and purred and slinked her way through other boytoys, always wanting to be her knight in shining armor but never really getting the chance. That once he did get the chance, their tragic love was cut short due to Anna's untimely and strange death in a Florida hotel room.
However, after seeing this footage, I'm not so sure.
A bit of backstory: Ford Shelley's daughter (G. Ben Thompson's son-in-law) had gone to the house his father-in-law had rented to Anna and Howard to drop off his nine-year-old daughter for a "play date" with Anna. (Apparently she had missed the girl's birthday and wanted to make it up to her with an afternoon of fun.) He said that when he dropped off his daughter, Anna was coherent.
However, after he left, things got strange. The girl told her father that she witnessed Howard give Anna "something from a white bottle with red stripes," and afterwards Anna became the slurred, logy, sad, doped-up clown we have seen on the previous, shorter video. (It was Ford's daughter who applied the clown makeup, apparently as part of a game.) Her speech was slurred, her eyes were half-closed, and she became incoherent, convinced the doll she and the girl are playing with is her actual baby.
At one point in the video, you can hear the girl whispering to Howard that Anna has "brain trouble." Howard even says, "you're freaking her out now, Anna." And the nine-year-old tries her best to persuade Howard to get Anna some help:
"Howard, help! Howard, seriously, help. Put the tape off and help. [...] I think we need the hospital. Howard, seriously, please help!" Throughout the tape, you can hear Howard giving directions to someone named Mark, telling him production notes such as not to show a part of the video where Anna's breast pops out of her sarong dress, and lamenting that background music might have ruined a shot. Apparently, Anna had promised a copy of the tape to Ford Shelly but never sent it. He says that his daughter saw a lot that day but didn't say anything about it (he didn't say just how he found out, either from finding the tape or his daughter telling him). Howard alleges that Ford Shelley stole this tape, but Ford says that is not so. He says that while he was at the house securing it (prior to his leaving the Bahamas), he told the people Howard had sent to the house that they could get into the house at any time. He said nobody came back into the house and nobody stopped him from leaving with anything, either at the house or at the airport later. He also says that he did not plant the methadone in the refrigerator (another Howard allegation), and that he in fact called the police about it but they never showed up. Ford and Geraldo have this conversation at the end of the clip:
Ford: I want the truth to come out and us to settle this thing. That...that video with Anna, that wasn't Anna, Anna's always been good to us and, and she's been a friend. I'm not exploiting Anna, I'm not here...I didn't make that tape, Howard did. Geraldo: That stoned Anna, pathetic Anna... Ford: But, but, but...when we say stoned and path...Anna, Anna didn't know, and, uh, she was good to my child, she wouldn't have hurt her for nothing.In the previously heavily edited portion of the video shown to the press, Howard alleges that Anna was pretending to be a little girl for the benefit of the camera. If indeed Howard gave Anna drugs of this nature, especially when Anna was eight months pregnant with Dannielynn, that is a serious thing. There is an inquest coming up into the circumstances of Daniel's death in the Bahamas just three days after his sister was born, in his mother's hospital room, and shockingly enough there are photos of Anna cradling her dead son's body in her hospital bed (don't worry, although they show a blurry shot on this video, they cut before that segment is shown). There is, however, a photograph shown of an apparently unconscious Anna with vomit coming out of her mouth so be warned. Who takes photographs of something like that? And why? Something like this goes a long way in explaining just why Anna always seemed to be in a haze. Even in her television series, she seems to constantly be existing in a foggy world of her own. It is disturbing to think that Howard could have been drugging her all this time. And what about the effect this would have on her unborn baby? Was Anna taking drugs voluntarily? How much is Dannielynn going to have to suffer because her mother was allegedly on drugs during her pregnancy? However, while video shot of Anna pre-Howard does not show perhaps the same level of slurry brain, she never came across on camera as a particularly bright bulb. She always seemed to be a little off, a bit fuzzy, but I always assumed it was an act for the camera, a cutesy-dumb-blonde-with-big-tits act. Maybe it wasn't.
Howard always seemed to genuinely care for Anna. So that beggars the question...why shoot this video to start with? Why exploit Anna this way? If he was shooting it for some as-yet-unknown reason, and was giving someone named Mark production notes, what was the purpose? Was he thinking of selling it? Why showcase Anna as a space cadet, adding fuel to the "she's on drugs" fire? and especially with her being eight months pregnant? He had to know this would reflect badly on him, so why even bother in the first place? How much was Howard an enabler, and how much just caught up in the ANS hurricane? And it is very disturbing that this took place in front of a nine-year-old girl, who really didn't have any clue of what to do or what was even going on.
Howard has also just filed for 6% of J. Howard Marshall's estate's net money, if Dannielynn ever comes into her share of the estate. As you recall, he was the former husband of Anna Nicole, and she was fighting his estate for her piece of his fortune. He's also filed papers to make Dannielynn the sole beneficiary of Anna's will, even though she is not mentioned. This could work out to a huge piece of cheese for Howard. Was this what he was after all along?
I'd love to know the answers. But, I'm telling you, even though I've defended him in the past, Howard is looking worse and worse with every new development.
