Jenna Miscavige Hill, ex-Scientologist on ABC's Nightline Tonight 11:35pm
This is the interview we've all been waiting for, and I for one, am stoked. Jenna Miscavige Hill, the niece of current leader of the Church of Scientology, David Miscavige, will be appearing on tonight's ABC Nightline news series. Here's a link to the article for the show on ABC's site. Comments open. You know what to do!
Jenna, along with two other former Scientology children, Astra Woodcraft and Kendra Wiseman, grew up in the Church but have since left and are speaking out against the Church of Scientology's abusive practices. These three brave ladies created a website called Ex-ScientologyKids.com, which offers support for those seeking to leave and those who've left the Church of Scientology and trying to piece their lives back together.
We recently featured a guest on our radio show, Jeff Hawkins, a 35-year veteran of the Church of Scientology who worked there doing marketing and publicity. Jeff detailed horrific physical abuse by David Miscavige against not only himself, but he's also spoken of abuse against senior citizens with the Sea Org.
Based on Jeff's eyewitness account, the assault on him was witnessed by several members of the CoS Sea Org and it is a unstated policy you must take the angry leader's abuse, or be sent to the RPF, otherwise known as Rehabilitation Project Force. The RPF is a prison for CoS members to receive "religious doctrination" and they spend much of their days doing hard manual labor, religious training and "auditing."
To hear more about Miscavige, the Church of Scientology's abusive practices, and how Scientology negatively affects children, please tune into ABC'S Nightline show tonight.
