Oh where do we begin? Seriously, there is so much WRONG in this picture that I can't even pick an area to work on without being distracted by something even more horrific. This photo was taken at the KIIS FM's Wango Tango concert this past weekend, so this is not an old photo.

I am not going to make jokes about Kelly's weight, because this isn't even in the Jessica Simpson realm of looking a little puffy or flabby, this is just sad. Kelly looks incredibly unhealthy in every facet of her being. Her face looks very bloated, like a person suffering from high blood pressure or perhaps undiagnosed diabetes. Fortunately, she's rocking a "pear shape" so that may be good news for her internal organs, otherwise with all that excess baggage her body could be under tremendous strain. I am NOT joking, Kelly is a young woman and there is just no legitimate excuse for her to be at least 50 to 75 pounds overweight, and that is NOT an exaggeration.

A few weeks ago I caught her performance on SNL and was alarmed with how much she had blown up, seemingly overnight. Similar to the above picture, she was wearing a terrible outfit that merely emphasized her weight problems, but what bothered me most was just how unhealthy her face looked. Her skin was dull and her hair looked greasy and lifeless. It's as though she had stopped caring for herself altogether. Including adopting some major hygiene issues.

I know in the past she has made statements to the media about not caring what people thought of her appearance and that she wasn't one to worry about being Hollywood thin, I applaud that and think that's a great attitude. That however, does not mean she should stop caring about herself or how she looks altogether. Which it appears she has. She's a role model for a lot of young women, and with obesity becoming a major issue for young people, it really is irresponsible of her to not set a better example.
