Madonna Lucks Out In Divorce, Ex-Guy Ritchie Ends Up With $75Million
Some gals have all the luck, some gals do nothing but complain. Both are the same gal in this case: Madonna.
News reports reveal that Madonna and her soon to be ex-husband, director Guy Ritchie have reached a settlement in their divorce, which should become finalized within the next six weeks. Here's CNN's report:
The singer Madonna has settled with Guy Ritchie for $75 million, or about £50 million, as part of their divorce agreement, her representative, Liz Rosenberg, confirmed on Monday to CNN.

The couple was granted a preliminary decree of divorce on November 21 Britain's High Court in London.
The couple have six weeks and a day from that hearing before the divorce becomes final.
The two-part divorce is standard in Britain. The window of time allows anyone who objects to the divorce — or has changed their minds — to notify the court.
The couple married at Scotland's Skibo Castle eight years ago.
They have three children — Rocco, born to the couple in 2000; David, adopted from Malawi; and Lourdes, Madonna's daughter from her previous relationship with dancer Carlos Leon.
British newspapers reported Friday that Ritchie agreed to take almost none of the singer's fortune, estimated to be around £300 million ($447 million).
Now don't get me wrong, $75million isn't nothing, but it's still a fraction of Madonna's overall wealth and probably far less than he could have gotten considering the nature of the how the divorce went down. Look at the Heather Mills/Paul McCartney fiasco. Mills, a certifiable demon of unknown origins within the deepest recesses of hell, still managed to squeeze about $37million out of McCartney. Surely a guy like Ritchie, whose professional career took a huge blow directing Madonna's bomb, Swept Away, and who went along with the adoption of their second son, David, a Malawian orphan, despite his opposition, deserves a decent chunk of change. Not to mention putting up with Madonna's controlling, thrifty, domineering ways — honestly, if it were up to me, I'd give Guy at least half just for agreeing to sleep with her on regular basis. Can you imagine how fun that must be? Sheesh, ice-queen alert!
Madonna may be a wonderful mother and entertainer, but as a spouse, she sounds like a nightmare. Guy deserves every penny.
We didn't even mention the whole A-Rod thing. Until now...
