More Weirdness From Church of Scientology Leader David Miscavige

Many ex-Scientologists have given eye-witness reports to having seen CoS leader, David Miscavige, beat subordinates for perceived slights and failures. Perhaps this explains why David's father, Ronald Miscavige, asked a police officer to "beat him" instead of issuing him a ticket during a traffic stop for reckless driving.
Here's the exact statement as recorded by arresting officer John Lenton:
"I asked Ronald what he was doing driving so recklessly. Ronald said he was late for work. Ronald said," I know I ran a red light." Ronald continued by saying he was wrong and deserved a ticket but was very late for work. Ronald asked me to beat him instead of giving him a ticket."
Does this sound like the normal response when being cited for reckless driving? Well, before you attempt this strategy during your next stop from the local authorities, you should know this did NOT get Ronald Miscavige out of the ticket. In fact, he was arrested, fingerprinted and referred to the district attorney's office. What happens next is interesting too.
After reviewing the case, Judge Bishop sentenced Ronald to 100 hours of community service for his conviction of reckless driving. So, imagine my surprise to find where Ronald completed his court-ordered service: Golden Era Productions.
In case you aren't familiar, Golden Era Productions is a Scientology owned organization which produces much of the promotional material put out by the Church of Scientology. Here's what Wikipedia says about Golden Era Productions:
