... this petition is to ask Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger to pardon Paris Hilton for her mistake. Please allow her to her return to her career and life. Everyone makes mistakes. She didn't hurt or kill anyone, and she has learned her lesson. She is sincere, apologetic, and full of regret for her actions as she explained tearfully to the Judge handling her case in court yesterday.She is distraught and understandably afraid.
She should be afraid. She's insulted every ethnic and special interest group out there. She's offended the sensibilities of us all and flagrantly flaunted her celebrity status as a free pass to do as she wishes. It's true, she didn't kill anyone, but she has influenced our society in the most negative of ways by glamorizing illegal drugs, promiscuous sex and may be the root cause of the rise in herpes in this country. That in itself is reason enough to send her to jail.
If she gets clemency, there will be rioting in the streets!
