Sarah Palin's Strange Scientology Connections

Governor Sarah Palin With New BFF Fox Anchor Greta Van Susteren
Governor of Alaska and popular maverick Sarah Palin, is according to the Washington Post, "simultaneously the hottest commodity on the Republican fund-raising circuit and a figure of ridicule among Democrats (and even many Independents) who believe that her status as a national figure is entirely undeserved."
Well I agree that her status is definitely undeserved.
Sarah Palin wasn't able to wink herself into the vice presidency, but she is aiming her peepers for 2012. After many embarrassing whoopsies like her pregnant daughter, the whole "Trooper Gate" fiasco and let's not forget that back in 2005, just before she was elected governor, Pastor Thomas Muthee of the Wasilla Assembly of God Church blessed Sarah and asked that Sarah be protected from witchcraft, and said that electing Sarah Palin would help keep witchcraft out of schools, and help the right wing.
This blessing was caught on video and was posted on Youtube and received over 700,00.00 views. Two days later she formally announced her gubernatorial bid and was elected the next year. Nuff said.
You would think that this time around, Sarah Palin would really be minding her P's and Q's and be more cautious not to create a pre-2012 election faux pas.
Think again.
Since her failed efforts to become Vice President of the United States, Palin's kept herself busy getting cozy with uber Scientologist Greta Van Susteren and her husband and fellow Scientologist, lawyer John P. Coale. Geoffrey Dunn had this to say about the Susteren/Palin connection in a recent article on The Huffington Post:
"Ever since Palin was first selected as John McCain's running mate last August, Van Susteren--she of the rather severe face lift and right-wing tilt--has been utterly infatuated with the Palins (especially with Todd) and has enjoyed unequaled access to the Last Frontier's first couple and their family. "
But just how did Susteren's husband get involved in the Palin love-fest? Perhaps knowing more aobut Coale will help make the connection.
John P. Coale has contributed to several political campaigns. Especially WOMEN'S campaigns. He has financially helped Hillary Clinton and Nancy Pelosi. Greta boasts, "He has fun doing it. He happens to enjoy helping them with advice. He likes to see women succeed..." Coale has been quoted as saying "he talks to Palin regularly and that she is a "fascinating person" who is "definitely not what the right thinks or the left thinks." Fascinating?
