Woody Allen Not "Bananas" Over Having Past Used Against Him In Copyright Lawsuit

Woody Then and Now
Woody Allen (Allan Stewart Konigsberg) who is now 73, has always been one of my favorite actor/comedians. Woody's neurotic fumbling, stuttering and thick nerdy glasses, (which haven't changed since the 1960's) have been cracking people up for years. And many of Allen's movies are classics.
A few of my favorites are Sleeper, Bananas, Everything You Wanted To know About Sex, But Were Afraid To Ask, and my all time absolute favorite one of all... Annie Hall, in which Woody won the Academy Award for that year (1977).
Some interesting factoids on Allen; he wrote almost all his own scripts for his movies, which are primarily based in NY, recorded three comedy albums and has done nine plays, he enjoys playing clarinet in NY on Monday nights, and can be seen at any given Knicks games, since he is a season ticket holder and never watches his films on screen once they've been released. Neurotic much?
Another fun fact, in 1995, he was chosen by Empire magazine as one of the 100 Sexiest Stars in film history (he was #89). Um...I love him and all, but don't know if I agree with that one.
I always admired the fact that Woody was never caught up in the whole fake celebrity circus. He was never an award attender, nor was he ever known to flash his money around. He has won or has been nominated for 136 awards. Not too shabby!
Woody's love life however, doesn't read nearly as cheery. He's been linked to many of leading ladies and has a penchant for women/girls much, much younger than he is. Woody was once in love with Mia Farrow and they adopted kids and had one of their own together, but in what is now an infamous scandal, that relationship ended not only his union with Farrow, but almost undid his illustrious entertainment career.
Mia and Woody parted ways and had a long brutal (to say the least) custody battle, which was eventually won by Farrow. In Mia's biography, "What Falls Away, Frank Sinatra, who was once married Mia, (to many people's dismay) offered to have Allen's legs broken when he was found to be having an affair with her adopted daughter, Soon-Yi Previn. Keep it classy, Frank!
Oh yeah, so about THAT affair. The much publicized affair, made Woody look seriously creepy in the majority of his fan's eyes. Also, the affair that I wished weren't true and still want to forget about.
I remember when this story first broke. I cringed and thought, "Oh No! This can't be true. Not Woody, not my Alvy Singer! Not Fielding Mellish!"
