WTF? Bart Simpson Joined Scientology?
Nancy Cartwright does the voice for Bart Simpson from Fox's hit comedy series "The Simpsons." Nancy's also a major Scientologist, having contribute $10 million to the Church of Scientology in one year alone, $5 million more than top-gun Scientologist Tom Cruise.
Only problem, it seems she is using her voice-over character, Bart, to shill for Scientology. Not sure what her contract says, but I can't imagine Simpsons' creator Matt Groening would appreciate having his most popular character used in conjunction with a highly controversial cult.
Not that anyone will complain about it, the Church of Scientology has a "funny" way of dealing with those who go up against them.
