Cheap Music Downloads Sound Sweeter in UK

TuneChecker.com, launched today, is a free service that compares the prices of single and album MP3s available online.

Search for Susan Boyle and you'll find her record-breaking debut album available from Tesco for a reasonable £3.97 while it's a massive £7.99 from iTunes. Wow!

TuneChecker works by scanning retailer websites and creating a database of prices. It doesn't guarantee to be 100% up-to-date all the time and it doesn't cover all retailers. But it includes most of the big names and others will probably be added soon.

If you're a cost-conscious music-lover in the UK you'll want to check this site out asap. 

TuneChecker.com is provided by MoneySavingExpert.com, a website set up by journalist Martin Lewis to provide free consumer advice in the UK. Prices are in pounds and the site doesn't mention whether its service is available elsewhere, but if you are in the UK, this is an awesome new site.
