Hollywood Hipster Nomi Madness? Releases "Fairy Tales" EP
Once upon a time, in the year 2011, a brilliant new recording artist was born named Nomi Madness?. This new artist, hailing from Hollywood, presented to all the land, a new musical storybook dream.
Nomi Madness? has let loose his “Fairy Tales” EP, featuring 6 sweet tracks, now available on iTunes. With fresh ingredients consisting of a hint of 80s pop, a dash of modern electronica, a dollop of wit and a cup of contemporary soul – all mixed with love and baked with androgyny – Nomi Madness?, a living and breathing electro-sprinkled gingerbread man, is born unto the hipster world.
“Producing ‘Fairy Tales’ was my dream and I am so excited to finally share it with the world,” states Nomi Madness?. “Believe in your fairy tale. Dreams do come true.”
Nomi Madness? has invented a debut EP to wake up ear buds and shake down dance floors. During a three-year production process in Melbourne, Australia, Brooklyn, Manhattan and Los Angeles, many tracks were built. “Fairy Tales” boasts the relevant songs, which represent who Nomi Madness? is – an artist drawing on the musings of Bette Midler and Boy George.
“I’ve always been obsessed with ‘Faith’ by George Michael, ‘Purple Rain’ by Prince and ‘Like A Virgin’ by Madonna,” states Nomi Madness?. “My ‘Fairy Tale’ EP was inspired by these legendary pop classics for the hip crowd.”
The “Fairy Tales” EP features “Red Wine Girl” (David Kahne Mix), “The Rush” (Clubbed Mix), “Tease Me” (Part 2), “Eye Candy” (Version Version), “Falling” (R.I.P. Anders) and bonus track “The Rush” (Original Mix).
Nomi Madness? was hands-on in the creation of all the tracks, from writing to production to vocal arranging. Along the way, there were some legendary names willing work on the EP with Madness?. David Kahne is responsible for mixing “Red Wine Girl.” Imani Coppola (Little Jackie) lent her engineering talents on “Tease Me.” Songwriters lending their hands included: James Wirrick (“You Make Me Feel Mighty Real” by Sylvester); Grammy Award nominee Gina G and Duane Morrison (“Don’t Call Me Baby” by Madison Avenue). “Falling,” a haunting ballad was produced by the late Anders Gotherberg of Swedish band Broder Daniel.
Nomi Madness? declares, “There are a lot of pop tarts out there like Jeffree Star, Adam Lambert and Jeffrey Paris, but I’m the original bitch!”
