The internet’s been abuzz since news surfaced that pop star Rihanna has quietly reunited with Chris Brown, three years after he brutally beat her beyond recognition.

The R&B star was even a guest at the Rihanna’s 24th birthday celebrations in L.A. following the Grammy Awards.

And now the duo have decided to do the unthinkable and have collaborated on each other’s remixes – Chris on Rihanna’s raunchy, definitely not safe for work Birthday Cake and Rihanna on Chris’ Turn Up The Music.

Even if Chris never hit me again, who’s to say that their boyfriend won’t? Who’s to say that they won’t kill these girls? These are young girls. I just didn’t realize what an impact I had on these young girls’ lives until that happened.”

So what happened to all of that sense of responsibility Rihanna?

Don't get me wrong.

I’m all for forgiving, forgetting and moving on but reuniting and becoming pals (or lovers depending on who you ask) with someone who choked you until you could no longer breathe and began to lose consciousness, who repeatedly bit you, viciously beat you up on every inch of your body and then ditched you in the middle of nowhere? Now that’s messed up!

Has that scar on your lip faded so much so that you no longer remember the darkness and hurt you felt afterwards?
