Spotify Is Here. So Is Your Invite!

Okay, it’s not exactly the Beatles arriving, but the folks overseas have been just as excited about this piece of online work, and are happy to be able to share it with the other side of the pond. As of this morning, Spotify is available in the United States by invitation, and I’ve got one just for you...
I received my Klout Perks Ambassador link today, and can give it to as many people as I can. I downloaded the client on my Mac, and everything works smoothly. I thought I’d tell you quickly about the features of Spotify, then provide you a link to download the free version yourself, so you can tell me what you think, too.
Tons and tons of songs, all the time
First, let’s start with the content. Spotify says they have millions of songs in their online catalog, and you can search for them however you’d like - by artist, song or even album. Find something you like? Simply click on shuffle icon on the lower right corner and let ‘em play all day long. With millions of songs, I’m sure you are going to have an incredible time.
Downside? Not all artists have signed licenses with Spotify. The Beatles signed on not too long, so feel free to recreate that airport arrival screaming fan scene anytime in your living room. Spotify keeps seeking other artists to join in, so if you don’t find your favorite, keep looking.
Playlists galore
You can create playlists of your favorite songs to revisit later, over and over. Simply create a new playlist using the top menu, then perform searches for songs related to your desires. Find something you like? Click and drag the song(s) into the playlist. It’s as simple as that. Make as many playlists as you please - for me, this sounds like I could create a number of virtual albums to visit often.
