Two One Direction Fans Help Others Find Affordable Concert Tickets via Twitter
Unless you've been living under a rock for the past year or so, you've probably heard of English-Irish boy band One Direction at least once. These guys are responsible for such artistic masterpieces as What Makes You Beautiful and One Thing.
While the music they produce does not appeal to everyone, One Direction certainly appeals to teen girls. They are just short of ten million followers on twitter, and more than thirteen million 'likes' on Facebook. I assure you that the majority of that following is not made up of males.
One Direction will be touring the United States this year starting in June, and as you can imagine, tickets are in high demand. Several online marketplaces have them on sale. For their show at American Airlines Center in Miami, SeatCrunch has tickets starting at $329. StubHub has tickets in the same section for $372 after service fees.
Most young ladies don't have $350 to spare. Let's be honest, when you factor in parking, food and drink, and souvenirs, most adults don't have the kind of money it takes to go to a One Direction concert and get the full experience.
Thankfully for these "Directioners" as they're called, there is still hope.
@1DTicketHelp is every fan's favorite Twitter account. Two teenage One Direction fans run the account that helps fans find One Direction tickets to shows across the globe. With over 29,000 followers, they have certainly caught on, and they really are helping fans find tickets at reasonable prices. One of the band members has endorsed the account with a follow, which makes these chicks One Direction royalty as well.
I wish there was an @NFLTicketHelp.
