After 13 years of steady growth, Ultra Music Festival has finally outgrown itself. The festival, which has become a showcase for some of the top techno, electronic and beat-driven pop bands around the world, is one of the highest grossing, and fastest growing, music festivals in the world.

Ultra Music Festival, held in Miami, Florida, expanded to a three day event for the first time this year, from March 25-27. Last year, as a two day event, it drew in over 100,000 fans from all over the globe. It is the first major festival of the tour season and last year it flexed its "crowd appeal" muscles, jumping into the #4 spot for highest grossing fests.

Ultra Music Festival officials recently announced that all three dates for the 2011 event have SOLD OUT! More than a month in advance of the first show and there are no tickets left.

Ultra Music Festival was originally created as a purely electronic dance festival, but over the years it has grown to incorporate bands not normally associated with electronic music: The Killers, The Cure, The Black Eyed Peas; the number of bands who have been greatly influenced and are still being musically impacted by techno, trance and electronica is almost staggering, but it's the fan base that is most amazing.

She knocked Beyonce and Lady Gaga out of the #1 slots, and yet she was completely ignored by American radio.
