American Idol Results Show a Travesty

I'm just not sure I can take anymore. The American Idol results show aired last night live on Fox. Since they are only eliminating one contestant now, there is a lot of filler.
David Cook, a past Idol, performed and did a great rendition of "Jumping Jack Flash", Ke$ha performed "Blah, Blah, Blah," no joke that's the name of the song... sheesh. OH, and it was just that, BLAH! What was with the damn headdress at the end of the song? And someone named Orianthi performed, who my 12-year old has heard of and likes. Me, not so much.
OK, so on to the bottom three:
Paige MIles...YES! About time.
Tim Urban: Double yes....needs to go bye-bye as well.
Lacey Brown: What do you people not get about talent, originality, a fresh sound? She soooooo did not belong in the bottom three.
So who went home? Take a wild guess. Better yet, let me spell it out. Not the boring, unoriginal, yawn to watch Paige Miles. Nor the cute, not really that talented, took a Rolling Stones song and turned it into Reggae mush Tim Urban.
The viewers sent home LACEY BROWN. Why, why, why, why why? It's not right. It is wrong on every level. Not as wrong as Lilly Scott getting voted off (a moment of silence here for that tragedy). Once again, I will wager a bet that we will hear more from Lacey than we will ever hear from the boring twins.
So on to next week's show. This is what makes horse racing I guess, and since I definitely plan on tuning in, it appears that I am going to continue to take it.
American Idol, tune in for the next round, Tuesday the 23rd at 8-10pm, and the live results show Wednesday the 24th at 9pm on Fox.
