Anticipation for ABC's Charlie's Angels Begins
ABC has just announced its strong fall lineup, among them a big, loud, fun series based on the 1970's hit, Charlie's Angels. If you grew up loving the series or have enjoyed the 2000's movie, then make way as three new ladies team up to work for Charlie Townsend's detective agency.
Abby (Rachael Taylor) is a Park Avenue Princess who became a world-class thief. Kate (Annie Ilonzeh) is a Miami cop who fell from grace, subsequently losing both her career and her fiance. Gloria is a disgraced army lieutenant who has a way with explosives. The enigmatic Charlie (voiced by Robert Wagner) rounds up these three girls and gives them another chance. However, Gloria untimely dies in a mission with the girls and is replaced by her childhood friend, Eve (Minka Kelly), a street racer with a mysterious past. Ramon Rodriguez plays Bosley 2.0, their hot, young technical expert.
Brought to you by producers Leonard Goldberg (the original Charlie's Angels), Drew Barrymore (the Charlie's Angels movies), Alfred Gough, and Miles Millar (Smallville), this scorching-hot series set in Miami will bring in thrilling crime fighting action on your TV screens.
