DWTS Season 13 Stars Revealed!

If you are a Dancing With The Stars fan, the wait is finally over. The multi-talented (but not always light on their feet) stars of Season 13 were finally revealed during last night’s episode of ABC’s Bachelor Pad.
Without further ado, here are the stars that will be shining (or not) on the dancefloor over the next few months...
Talk show host Ricki Lake has had previous time on the dance floor, starring as Tracy Turnblad in the 1988 musical movie “Hairspray.” She downplays this experience, however, saying “I was 18 years old, I was 200 pounds, and I was faking it the entire time.” I have a feeling she hasn’t completely forgotten what it takes to win.
Comedic actor David Arquette is definitely looking forward to the experience. “I love to dance and I love to entertain, and there’s no place better than this show to do that,” said Arquette. I’m sure he’ll have a few one-liners to share with the judges. Let’s hope he has a few good moves, too.
Los Angeles Laker Ron Artest added a bit of sexual interest to his announced addition to the lineup, pulling off his shirt and flexing his muscles. I’m sure this will be repeated more than once during Season 13, likely in competition with Season 12 star Kirstie Alley’s former dancing partner Maxim Chmerkovskiy.
Author and Activist Chaz Bono will become the first transgender star on DWTS, tweeting “I (am) so happy to (finally) confirm that I am doing DWTS this season and I couldn’t be more excited about it,” last night to his over 25,000 followers. Bono is the only child of famous singing duo Sonny Bono and Cher, and is sure to generate a great deal of interest both because of his gender transition and on-going public fight with weight loss. Alley proved that DWTS can do a lot with that regard, as long as you can keep from being voted off week after week.
