These dogs are happy, loved and even cherished by their owners. Perhaps they are cherished so much though that 'Mummy' or 'Daddy' forgot about a little word called dignity. They parade their pets around like circus clowns to show off their own creative talents without thought to the dogs personal being. When your Mum made you wear that homemade Superman or Wonder Woman costume to school, how did you feel?
Next time a poodle walks by the dog park cut to look like a lion or a buffalo, don't make fun of it. Take some time to consider the real animal behind the exterior, a defenseless dog that bows to its owners demeaning wishes. Don't point and laugh at the dog, that's the worst thing you could do, these dogs with an already battered ego and have had enough hardship in their lives already. Has anyone set up a charity for these helpless animals yet?
