KidVid: Shaun the Sheep Zooms in for The Big Chase
You’ve got to love Shaun the Sheep—he’s so cuddly (if you really love him, don’t forget to go over to Facebook and “like” him). It turns out that Shaun has a taste for adventure and extreme sports which he shares on his new DVD, debuting April 19, 2011. Shaun, Bitzer, Shirley, and the Naughty Pigs have excitement in mind as they buckle up for fast times at the farm. Even Timmy (Timmy Time) will be there.
There are seven charmingly wacky adventures included on Shaun the Sheep: The Big Chase: “The Big Chase” has Timmy in a bit of trouble on the farmer’s quad bike; “Bitzer from the Black Lagoon” wherein Bitzer falls into the pond and is mistaken for a swamp thing; “Zebra Ducks of the Serengeti” is another mistaken identity story resulting from two ducks who get covered in soot; “Bitzer’s Basic Training”—this time, in an attempt to “shape up,” Bitzer turns the farm into a quasi-military base; “The Magpie” that has taken residence in a big tree is driving everyone nuts with his thieving ways; the farmer is restoring “The Boat,” until Shaun and company find a better, swashbuckling use for it; and “Hide & Squeak” features a little mouse hiding from Pidsley the Cat in Shaun’s fleece.

In addition, there are two bonus features: “The Mini Making of Shaun” video and “Timmy’s Tune #1.” Shaun the Sheep is currently seen on the Disney Channel where it is highly rated, and Timmy Time can be found on Playhouse Disney. Click here to play games with Shaun.
