Regarding "Jersey Shore," I Just Feel Bad at This Point - Page 2
His confrontation with his own notoriety was on a more normal level, scoring women opposed to flashing abs, but have you ever seen anyone mishandling a relationship like he has with Sammy? When confronted with enjoying some stranger noshing in clubs, his response was to A.) blame Sammy and B.) use the “we were on a break…even if it was for 2 hours” excuse. How can anyone get away with that? You have got to be dating somebody with some serious self-confidence issues for that to happen. That reminds me, you’re all making over $250K to basically do nothing and you STILL have confidence issues? In your world of the lowest common denominator, what are you having trouble with? Are you self-aware and that scares you? It should scare your parents. I blame them.
Vinny is the most likable cast member, because he is the closest reminder of some friends. He’s actually a good guy. You can tell even when he's involved with random hook-ups, he’s nice about it. He wants everyone to be happy. Vinny’s mother spoils him rotten, but if your Mom is from Italy you can relate. He probably has the most potential for long-term success. We’ll see him with a nice girl some day and, most importantly, Vinny has the least risk of seeing the inside of a rehab center.
Last year I wanted to adopt her, mainly because Snookie is so damn cute. Her, "I’m tiny and therefore I have anxiety over people accepting me" issues, was endearing. Now, just like The Situation, the fame has gone to Snookie’s head and she can’t handle it. Actually Snookie can’t handle anything. Honestly, I’m a bit shocked she can dress herself. There is not an ounce of common sense there and I blame every adult in her immediate family for not passing on a smidge of life skills. If the world fell into chaos and we were all on our own, Snookie would be someone’s first meal.
The funny thing about Sammy is she looks absolutely normal, has a normal background, college education (even played soccer) and doesn’t overdo it with the guidette fashion. However, we have to suffer with her relationship with Ronnie (and endless moping under her covers) that looks like relationships I had…when I was 16. They are in their mid-20s. There is no excuse for it. Watching them is so painful. I don’t normally say this, but I hope they meet Dr. Phil and not Dr. Drew.
