Unfortunately, a video can’t stop a parent from being forgetful or neglectful. I’m not sure there is anything that could prevent these horrific incidents from happening. However, there is a law in Kentucky which a person is guilty of manslaughter in the second degree when they leave a child under the age of eight in a vehicle with an extreme temperature. Most parents need to step back and realize that they are no longer number one. These mothers have carried their children in them for nine months, and now they leave them in a scolding hot car for drugs and alcohol. They’ve not looked bad for all mothers, but for themselves. Perhaps they should be left in the cars their children cried, screamed, sweated and died in so that they may know what it was like.
