Roozt.com recently launched an online marketplace that showcases brands that give back, and hopes you will share their enthusiasm as they set out to change the world one dollar at a time. There are hundreds, if not thousands of online shopping portals, but with Roozt, you not only satisfy your craving for online shopping, but also help a number of different charities in the process.

The site is set up to offer consumers a one-stop shopping experience where all the merchants featured have some socially responsible initiative tied in to your purchase. For instance, WeWood Watches will plant a tree for every timepiece sold. This Shirt Helps offers several stylish t-shirts and helps fund reforestation, clean water, education and animal rescue. These are just two of the brands featured, there are literally hundreds, and more are added every day according to the announcement on Marketwatch. From a recent Cone LLC research report, 91% of consumers would buy a product associated with a cause, if given the opportunity. This is what Roozt provides, the opportunity for consumers who want to make a difference with their purchases, the platform to do so.  Roozt helps consumers, "connect the dots between content and commerce" according to CEO and founder Brent Freeman. At the time of launch, Roozt already boasts an opt-in list of over 80,000 email subscribers.

For merchants, Roozt provides a free online storefront with state of the art ecommerce and marketing tools to help reach customers, fill orders and even provide daily 'flash' deals and other brand specific promotions. New brands are signing up every day and hundreds more are in the pipeline according to Freeman. "Many of these great companies are like well-kept secrets, small- and medium-size businesses doing incredible things with inspiring stories to tell," Freeman said.
