MouseA recent article regarding a study done on mice and serotonin levels proves to be quite entertaining.

Although it lacks any proven implication for humans, the article delves into the sex drives of serotonin deprived mice.

Apparently, mice void of serotonin which is a chemical in the brain, will have sex with any mice available, no matter the gender.

Just think, if the study could be applied to humans, bi-sexuality would be explained, and hypothetically, with the correct dosage of certain drugs, everyone could become bi-sexual sex addicts. Now, wouldn’t that be interesting?

While it is true that the mouse brain differs extensively from the human brain, it is also a proven fact that people who have increased serotonin levels also crave sex less.

Unfortunately, that is not enough evidence to assume that what goes for mice can be applied to the human race, making this particularly study nothing more than a spectacular conversation piece.
