"You sunk my Lego Battleship!"

Lego Group, makers of the popular building blocks, continues to diversify outside its core business by adding board games to its growing United States product repertoire, which has come to include costumes, video games, foam toys and theme parks.

The board games are not rehashings of existing board games but a combination of the building blocks and memory games already available in Britain and Germany, including a pyramid-themed game and a Greek maze.

The games are geared towards family play with children as the key players.  Ten board games will be available by July in stores with online availability starting this spring.
