CogniFit Brain HealthOur brains are complex organs that we can strengthen with mental exercise or a mind quiz. The benefits of exercising the brain are great for long term and short term memory.

High levels of stress and anxiety can distract us from our thinking and use up our mental energies. A boring and routine life that lacks novelty and stimulation can also lead to loss of brain function. Taking on new challenges and learning how to manage stress and prevent anxiety will help our brains to function better.

There are some quick and easy brain quizzes you can do daily to help stimulate your brain. To help short term memory, try a series of subtracting 7 from 200 and down. You can also try multiplication tables. Using numbers to train and improve short term memory works well.

Try doing something different every day, to wake up your brain. Take a different route when going to work. Every day is a new living and learning experience.
Try something different. Read a book on automobiles, take a cooking class. Keep your brain stimulated!

Good brain exercises consist of novelty, variety, and constant challenges and brain fitness is an excellent way to train your cognitive skills and keep your mind sharp.

Do not do puzzles everyday as your mind quiz. Doing the same thing everyday means it is routine. There is a need for variety and personalization for your training to have serious effects.

Try deep breathing. This isn’t really a brain exercise but it helps relax you and gets oxygen into your brain.

Computer based brain fitness exercises are a good way to provide different activities for the brain.

Eating a healthy, low fat, low sugar diet is good for brain fitness. Omega 3 supplements and multivitamins are very beneficial. The greatest brain food is mental stimulation.

Physical exercise stimulates your brain and helps create new neurons. It also brings blood flow to the brain which makes it work harder.

Mental exercise is just as important because it gets the new neurons moving. Stress will reduce the creation of new neurons and will actually kill some of them. Stress management is very important for keeping your brain healthy.

Good habits for great brain health consist of a healthy nutritional diet, physical exercise, stress management and mental stimulation. Mind quiz games give you good active learning habits.
