Pritchard has stated that losing any awards from the Marine Corps over their uniform-based concerns, will be paid for many times over, by the appreciation he's received, and the sense of honor to his community he feels.

Craig Pusley, 25, stood vigil over his child's Hughson, California elementary school for a few days until stories leaked that his claim to have served in Iraq and Afghanistan didn't stand under the scrutiny of investigation by the Modesto Bee. Pusley (image below) was asked to leave the campus subsequent to the report.

Despite any issues that have arisen from the wide-spread show of support, others continue to heed the call to stand watch over our nation's young students. I received a phone call today from my fiancee who is a teacher, that an off-duty CHP and police officer both currently stand watch over one of our local elementary schools.

I suspect the vast majority of men and women who are standing vigil over our schools today have either gone un-noticed or un-reported.

How about in your area? Have you noticed a man or woman, standing quiet watch in uniform in front of your child's school? If so, please share in the comments below.
