The most important issue of the year comes with a new look for the French Edition of Vogue, that features a cleaner, airier design, with remodeled typography and the use of a craft-paper-like brown background. Some sections have been renamed to put forward the Vogue brand. The editor’s letter gets back to its former title, “Le point de vue de Vogue” - “Vogue’s Point Of View."

For the launch of the new face of the magazine the people at Vogue chose three of the most renown fashion supermodels in the world... The incredible Kate Moss - who was simply majestic at the Olympics 2012 closing ceremony- Daria Werbowy and Lara Stone grace three different collectors’ covers wearing the same Dolce & Gabbana black dress and looking simply magnificent. Photographed by Mert Alas and Marcus Piggott - who shot 64 fashion pages for the issue - the magazine has that unique Parisian elegance that feels so modern yet classic and modern. I love the European magazines that rather use supermodels than celebrities in their most important issue unlike the American edition, and off course the outcome is always magnificent.

The theme of the magazine is the always mysterious Black, an elegant and intellectual guest for Vogue Paris's September issue that reveals the creative director of Vogue Paris, Germain Chauveau's, brand new layout in about 420 pages. " With Vogue Paris's mission in mind, dedicated to surprise and to anticipate our reader's desires, this special issue launches a new and perfected formula for the magazine. Featuring a brand-new layout, improved  rubrics, and new guest stars, such as the notorious blogger Garance Doré. Always fashionably early, Vogue further asserts her radical opinion and continues to cultivate her beauty. " writes Emmanuelle Alt,  editor-in-chief of Vogue Paris, in her editorial letter for the September 2012 issue. The issue has 224 advertising pages, compared with 220 in September 2011.

The alluring new edition of Vogue Paris will not hit the shelves until August 23, but meanwhile you can enjoy the three different covers here
