Best Among All Petrol and Diesel Cars Under 3000cc Engine

The Indian automotive industry has been making its mark in the automobile field, as plenty of car manufacturing companies have been providing their latest models in India. The Indian vehicle market has conventionally been dominated by petrol and diesel cars, and seventy percent of Indian automotive market comprises of small cars. With increasing purchasing power by discerning buyers and a growing middle class, the demand for compact cars has also been growing. At present, you will find an abundance of models in the market. The small vehicle market was originally dominated by Hyundai, Tata and Maruti.

With the introduction of the Chevrolet Spark, GM India seems to have thrown a tough challenge before these established companies. In the next couple of years, there will be a plethora of diesel cars from almost every automobile manufacturer. Maruti Suzuki, Mercedes Benz, Hyundai and BMW all plan to provide diesel variants of their new models in Indian market. Diesel prices in India are thirty percent lower as compared to gasoline and the demand for fuel efficient cars has grown even stronger. Here are some of the diesel and petrol models.

 

Diesel Cars:

Tata Sumo Gold CX is an everyday commuting multi utility vehicle, similar to the Sumo Victa, in terms of styling and looks. There are some changes, such as new front grille, new foglamps and a rear wiper. Powering the Gold CX is a 3.0 liter direct injection engine, good for pumping out 70 horsepower at 3000 rpm with 223 newton meters of torque at 1600 – 2200 rpm. The engine features a turbocharger helping achieve high torque and power, along with impressive fuel economy. 

The Tata Sumo Gold CX comes with a keyless ignition/engine immobilizer, which is basically an antitheft security system that feature keyless operation for door lock/unlock. It consists of one user remote with unlock or lock button, body control module and lock indicator warning on instrument panel. The cabin inside Sumo Gold CX is quite spacious, with new surround sound system and new switches for HVAC controls.
