The Maruti Ertiga will be launched in colours of blazing red, torque blue, silky silver, arctic white, glistening grey and midnight black.
The Ertiga specifications measure 4,265mm in length, 1,685mm in height and 1,695 in width with a stylish wheel of 185/65 R 15 inch alloys. "The car is for young people who like adventure and also for office goers. Ertiga's first focus is India. Later on, we may look at introducing the vehicle in ASEAN countries like Indonesia,” Mayank Pareek, Managing Executive Offer-Sales & Marketing at the company said.
With a combo of versatility and space, it surely has nothing but success written all over it. With the launch of the Ertiga, India’s largest carmaker is creating a new niche, calling it ‘Life Utility Vehicle’ or LUV that essentially is an upgrade for hatch backers and sedan buyers.
"What we are trying here is to create a new segment of compact MPVs, just as we did with Swift in the hatchback segment. We have not been present in the MPV segment despite being the overall market leader in the country," Pareek said.
