Sneak Preview of the Hyundai Santa Fe 2013 - Page 2
However since 2009 other cousins like the Hyundai Sonata sedan, Elantra and the Hyundai Accent have been gaining popularity and have even reached peak sales figures in their segment.
The cost of owning the 2013 Santa Fe has still been kept under wraps. The compact five seater avatar will be made in the US itself while the big brother will be brought down as a completely built unit from Korea.
The Hyundai Santa Fe Sport is equipped with a 2.4-liter, 4-cylinder engine that delivers a power of 190 hp. It is also available with an optional 2.0-liter turbocharged 4-cylinder engine that generates up to 240 hp.
The long wheelbase Santa Fe is equipped with a 3.3-liter direct injection V-6 engine which delivers a maximum power of 290 hp. All the variants will be attached to a six-speed automatic transmission. There is also an option of an all-wheel-drive on the Santa Fe and Santa Fe Sport.
Recently the company revealed the 2012 avatar of the Santa Fe at the New York Motor Show. However things have not been going well for the Santa Fe and it has been steadily declining in the market. The entry of the new models with the new styling, content and value seem to have turned the tide in its favor and hopefully the 2013 variant should help regain its lost glory.
