The C250 Date Night - Page 2
One thing that she was trying to ease herself on was the fact that she was noticeable taller than her date – of course this discouraged her from wearing heels.
Unlike her date, she was a car lover. She loved, size, muscle and power. One could suppose there were a few practical bones in her body – a fact she might very well have been unaware of.
There was the knock at the door… It was that time. She looked out of the window; she saw the car parked at the end of the walking path.
“That’s a small car.” She thought out loud.
She opened the door; there he stood with a single rose in his hand.
“Hi.” He said with a pearly white smile.
She seemed in a trance and stood silently mesmerized by his chivalrous demeanor. “But, he’s so short and has a small car.” She thought in her head.
He looked puzzled, she had not said hello back but the look on her face didn’t appear to be negative.
“Are you okay?” He asked.
“I’m fine, fine. Just fine. How are you?”
“I know you’re fine. I’m doing okay, thank you for asking.”
They smiled at one another, this time the both of them were caught in a high school like gaze. One of those moments where time stood still – everything was at a pause except for each other.
“Well, shall we?” He asked.
The two walked down the path, as she drew closer she could see that it was no ordinary small car – it was a Mercedes.
“Okay, okay. Doin’ big things I see.” She thought to herself.
He opened the door for her, she delicately seated herself. She continued with her over thinking of things internally.
“I wonder if this is the Mercedes coming out in him, all refined and stuff. I’ve never had a man open a door for me. Hmmm, maybe chivalry isn’t dead.”
Riding in a car with seats that were so comfortable they seemed to hug her opulent figure, it was becoming harder and harder for her to remember that he was shorter than she and that the car was smaller than she was used to. These matters are so superficial – why should they matter? The truth is they shouldn’t but they seem to.
She was comfortable. She was beginning to let her guard come down, he had great conversation skills, and a good head on his shoulders and he also seemed to be quite the gentleman so far. He also managed to keep her laughing. All this was quite apart from the fact that he seemed to have great taste in cars.Continued on the next page
