Why Do Children Love Gaming ?
I always thought that children love games because they’re funny and entertaining. Is it more? Yes, it is.
We need to go deeper into this subject.
Imagine yourself being a kid. All the adults around you treat you differently from how they treat adults, and you are always left outside.
You feel you have no power. But, while playing an online game or a PC game, you can decide what everybody and everything inside a game does. You are in control. You are like an adult, and now your mind is relaxed.
Children love games, not only because they are funny, but because it gives them the feeling of having control over something. They do things in a virtual world — everything they can’t actually do in real life. That’s why many parents encounter problems when their children play for too many hours a day.
Very often children get into problems at school, because instead of doing their homework they prefer to play games. It would be useful for parents to acknowledge the importance of accepting their children as their equals and involve him or her into their daily routine. In this manner, many of the things above may be avoided.
