American Company Launches Eco-Friendly Activewear

Imagine a clothing company that is so sustainable it makes clothing from recycled colored cotton and recycled polyester from plastic bottles, plus uses recycled yarn. Such a company does indeed exist. It is called Tulong, LLC, which means “help” in the Tagalog language.

Founded in 2008 by Mark Heiman, the Cincinnati, Ohio based company recently unveiled its sustainable clothing brand, Repair the World for the first time at the largest apparel tradeshow in -the U.S. in Las Vegas this week (August 17-19). Repair the World sells active wear clothing (women's, junior's, men's, and children's shirts, hoodies, and pants.

Heiman Friendship Bridge
The company recently gave a donation to support the Friendship Bridge Trust Bank in Solola, Guatemala, which is made up of seven women who will receive loans to run small businesses.
