Land SharksWith tales of whales almost swallowing kayaks and sharks chasing and biting surfers, one should be wary of the lawyers leaving Texas for Oklahoma thanks to Governor Rick Perry’s tort reform. Mr. Perry also happens to be running for the Republican ticket for President. These ex-Texas land-sharks are likely circling the fracking fields right now and are sizing up their prey. Like wounded fish, these fracking oil and gas corporations will be overtaken by the feeding frenzy that awaits them.

A British energy company, Cuadrilla Resources, recently confessed that it's hydraulic fracturing operations caused earthquakes. And as any land-shark learns quickly, that is the hardest part of a novel case to prove in a court of law.

Moreover, last January, in Oklahoma a series of earthquakes were recorded by the United States Geological Survey. A report showed a possible causation link between fracking operations there and earthquakes.

So with scientific evidence and confessions in hand, these land-sharks will be feeding on the fracking oil and gas corporations for the next few years. Sharks got to eat somewhere, if not in Texas, then in Oklahoma.
