Dreamworks and Royal Caribbean Announce Partnership
DreamWorks Animation® has teamed up with Royal Caribbean International® to bring the next evolution of family programming and entertainment onboard Allure of the Seas, sailing in December 2010. This announcement comes only weeks after Norwegian Cruise Line partnered with Nickelodeon for their new ship the Norwegian Epic.
Join 22 of your favorite characters from popular DreamWorks films including Shrek, Kung Fu Panda, Madagascar and more, onboard the new Allure of the Seas starting this December.
This partnership will add amazing entertainment and experiences for the entire family. A brand new ice show will feature characters from the movie How To Train Your Dragon. In the Madagascar Aqua show called "Let you entertain me" Marty, Alex, Gloria and Melman interact with the swimmers, high divers and acrobats. 3-D movies shown in the theatre will include Monsters vs Aliens, How to Train Your Dragon and the latest Shrek film: Shrek Forever After. There will also be a DreamWorks channel available in all cabins.
The DreamWorks experience will make it easy for children to interact with characters. Shrek, Fiona, and other characters will now be included in parades, character meals and photo opportunities.
At this time there is no plan to charge for any of these new programs.
In 2011, the DreamWorks Experience will begin rolling out on Oasis of the Seas®, Freedom of the Seas® and Liberty of the Seas® ships.
