Our final chapter is grueling. I don't know what was worse, the free massages, or the brioche french toast with thick sliced bacon? Or was it the dog mushing up the Iditarod trail followed by wild mushroom risotto with duck? Hmmm, perhaps it the extreme sledding followed by reindeer sausage ministrone? This was one tough gig. Not.

Accessible only by plane or snowmobile in the winter, The Winterlake Lodge  is one of the most intimate and adventerous lodges in Alaska, paired with some of the finest food in the world and served by the woman who literally wrote the book on Alaska cuisine, Kirsten Dixon.

In this final chapter of our trip, the stakes get raised in both adventure and gourmet pleasure. Four star cuisine, coupled with some of the most amazing winter adventeres you can find in the entire state of Alaska.

But I'm a video blogger by trade, so enough of my typing. Let's get to the play button:

In my next addition, I'll take you snowmachining (the Alaskan word for snowmobiling) to one of Alaska's biggest glaciers, and I'll make threats at Sarah Palin's husband, Todd. Really??

Until we rub noses again!
