If you are looking for a side trip when visiting St. Kitts, then you should definitely visit Nevis. Located only 45 minutes by ferry from St. Kitts, it is a great place to visit for those who love trips that entail exploration. However, it is highly recommended that when visiting Nevis you stay on the island for a few because there is that much to see and do in the area.
Attractions in the area offer a visit scaling the heights of Nevis Peak, teeing-off at a world-class golf course, exploring underwater grottoes or just relaxing on one of the remote beaches.

Our recommendation is to begin your trip by visiting Charlestown. It
will only take you about hour to explore the capital town so don’t
plan on spending your whole day there. Next, those of you who love
verdant natural scenery should check out the Botanical Gardens at
Montpelier Estate. The Gardens are nestled at the foot of Mt. Nevis
and features terraced landscaping showcasing various kinds of vibrant
blooms. Walk around the sprawling grounds and discover grand
fountains, lagoons and waterfalls along the way. You can catch
breathtaking panorama. Don’t forget your cameras!

If you are looking for something exciting to do, and are a fan of
haunted houses then pay a visit to the Eden Brown Estate where the
ghost of an 18th century recluse bride is said to haunt the area.
Finally, the Fothergills Nevisian Heritage Village is also a
must-visit especially for those who are interested in the island’s
history and culture. Check out the traditional living quarters with
relics dating back to the period of the Caribs and many other exhibits
which help you to gain insight into the rich heritage of the Nevisian
people throughout the centuries.
