Ali A. Akbar is currently the Vice President of Digital Strategy with the new, Vice and Victory Agency, a firm specializing in political marketing on the digital medium as well as general public affairs and coalition building. Formerly with the firm Republic Modern, Ali has lead the way in implementing private-sector digital marketing strategies into the political new media field. He is at the forefront of the emerging blogger relations sector, coordinating with the most of the influential writers and activists to the benefit of the conservative movement and campaigns. Ali's work is usually coupled with activism, bringing national attention to causes like Doug Hoffman's race in NY-23, Senator Scott Brown's innovative blogger coordinated effort, the Drill Here Drill Now petition, and labeling the 2010 opposition as a "supermajority," a term widely adopted by organizations around the country. Never missing a moment to fight the establishment, Ali was one of the first handful National Tax Day Tea Party coordinators in February of 2009, building much of the technical infrastructure that led to the most successful protest in American history - with at least 1.2 million people attending in 81 cities organically. His work has been seen on every major network and publication and his opinion pieces ave appeared in The Daily Caller, RedState, The Dallas Morning News, and NPR, among others. Ali also serves as an honorary board member to several non-profits and political action committees, including One Nation PAC and Engage the Nation, as well as an informal advisory to many of the national tea party organizations.
