Chip Chipmunk was born in Suffolk. To be more precise, at a USAF airbase in Suffolk. His proud parents, all 17 of them, were the entire 48th Component Maintenance Squadron based at RAF Lakenheath. Whilst other Chipmunks were busy rifling through bins and stealing socks he lived and breathed engine maintenance for the first ten years of his life. Stopping only once for a brew and a bag of peanuts. Chip’s skills as a mechanic are much sought after and racing teams everywhere are desperate to have him on their team. He’s got a lifetime of motoring knowledge and experience, he’s travelled the world with rally teams working under pressure cooker conditions, he’s test-flown fighter jets…but nothing makes him happier than pottering around in his garage with a bag of peanuts and a spanner. Chip – Mechanic. Loyal partner. Peanut chugging chipmunk.
