I am a 21 year old, recent graduate of the University of Oregon transitioning from learning how to cook as a college student to learning how to cook as a young person with their first full time job. I graduated with a degree in Sociology and plan on helping kiddos get the best education they can. Right now, I work as a research assistant at the U of O. It's pretty awesome. I grew up eating salmon, elk, and venison caught by my dad and I still reap the benefits of his skills with a fishing pole or crossbow. I like to think of myself as adventurous with my cooking, but my style is generally of the hearty, comforting variety. Whenever possible, I prefer to cook with local, organic food which, lucky for me, is so easy to do in a place like Eugene!
