John is a personal and executive life coach with a private practice based in the South of France. With a Masters in Communications as well as a degree in Political Science and Middle East Studies from McGill University, John speaks and works in three languages English, French, and Arabic. His initial coaching experience was as a flight instructor in Canada. He coached and trained student pilots in English and French from over 10 different countries. After his Masters he worked in a large Public Relation agency in Dubai, UAE and coached Fortune 500 executives in crisis communications, public speaking, strategic communications and media relations. He then decided that the corporate world couldn’t offer him what he was looking for in life so he started the first eco-tourism adventure company in the Middle East. During his years running the company he coached corporate clients increase their creativity and efficiency through outdoor retreats. His interest in coaching and helping others led him to setup the first technical rescue training company in the Middle East. Through this company he trained most of the police, civil defense and special force rescue teams of the region. On the first year of the company’s life he won the agent of the year award from its US certification body. All these experiences have given him a strong understanding of what it takes to coach expatriate entrepreneur who want to grow a successful business overseas. John currently lives in Provence with his wife and daughter.
