Leslie Grandy is the VP of Product & Design at Gerson Lehrman Group. Grandy, who was named one of the 15 most influential women in social media by Technorati in the 2010 State of the Blogosphere report, served recently as Chief Marketing Officer for R2integrated. As the author of the blog "The Consumer Matters" under her Gearhead Gal brand, Ms. Grandy's insights are syndicated through websites including MocoNews, Newstex, Alltop, and Technorati. Recently, Ms. Grandy was named to TechFlash's Puget Sound Top 100 Women in Technology list, and she has served as a GLG Educator on the Telecom, Media and Entertainment Council for the Gerson Lehman Group. Previously, Ms. Grandy was the vice president of product development at T-Mobile, where she led the launch of T-Mobile G1 and the company's iconic Sidekick device. Prior to T-Mobile, she was Apple's online store director for the Americas. Leslie came to Apple from consulting roles for Forward Consulting, providing ecommerce guidance to companies like Turner Broadcasting System, Microsoft, and DivX. She also served as Vice President, Product Management at Infospace and GM of consumer marketing in RealNetworks' consumer division. Ms Grandy launched the first 1M customer online video subscription service, SuperPass. Grandy is a member of the Director's Guild of America and earned a Bachelor's degree in TV and Film from Northwestern University, as well as a Master's of Business Administration from the University of Washington.
